(四種信心, 四种信心)

The four kinds of faith given in the <Awakening of Faith>, i. e.

(1) in the [lang id =1028]真如 q. v. as the teacher of all Buddhas and fount of all action;

(2) in Buddha, or the Buddhas;

(3) in the Dharma; and

(4) in the Sarogha.

﹝出起信論﹞ 〔一、 信根本〕， 謂真如之法， 諸佛所師， 眾行之源， 能愛樂者， 即是信於根本， 故云信根本。 〔二、 信佛〕， 謂信佛有無量功德， 常念親近， 供養恭敬， 發起善根， 求一切智， 故云信佛。 〔三、 信法〕， 謂信受諸佛所說之法， 有大利益， 常念修行， 故云信法。 〔四、 信僧〕， 謂信僧能正修行， 自利利他， 常樂親近， 求學其道， 故云信僧。
